Tillandsia with Real Driftwood

Tillandsias as Air Plants are beautiful, sculptural and intriguing plants. It makes the most beautiful living decor objects for your spaces, whether it’s at home, at the office or even in a classroom.

Sunlight: The Ionantha varieties love sunlight, so they should also be kept in an area that gets adequate light throughout the day.

Water: 2-3 times a week depending on the environment. Prefer to water in the morning and make sure to shake off any excess water before setting them out to dry!

Fertiliser: Recommend Gaviota 63 foliar fertilizer and /or lactobacilius Aquis organic fertilizer once a week.

Tillandsia funckiana in conical flask (0.25m)

Tillandsia funckiana is found growing in very bright condition at an elevation of 1500m above sea level in Colombia, Venezuela.

It is extraordinarily attractive as it gets bigger, forming into clumps. It also has bright orange flowers.

Sunlight: Partial sunlight

Water: Top up water once every 10 days.

Fertiliser: Recommend Gaviota 63 foliar fertiliser and /or lactobacilius Aquis organic fertiliser once a week.
