Ixora is a genus of flowering plants in the Rubiaceae family. It consists of tropical evergreen trees and shrubs and holds around 500 species. Though native to the tropical and subtropical areas throughout the world, its centre of diversity is in Tropical Asia
Almost all ixoras do best in full sun, acid soil, free from nematodes, a moist organic mix that is also well drained. Ixora can endure some salt spray on the wind. Planted in shady areas or with excess water on leaves, sooty mold usually sets in.
Sunlight: They can withstand full sun.
Water: 2-3 times a week thoroughly.
Fertiliser: Recommend slow release nitricote or Aquis organic lactobacilus fertilizer.
Plant Size: approx. 30-50cm (vary in sizes)
